A Letter from the League President
Dear Parents and Players,
The Little League Baseball Season is just around the corner. I want to extend a warm welcome on behalf of the entire Board of Directors to our returning baseball families, as well as all new families to our league and or our community.
CCLL offers two levels of competitive baseball. The first level is the regular season where we attempt to evenly distribute the talent so teams are competitive with the other teams in our league. The second level is All Stars (for Minors, Majors, Intermediate and Juniors) which players try out for and must have played in our regular season to be eligible. The All Stars team for each division will be selected from the best candidates that tryout. They practice together and play in the Little League tournament against other leagues’ All Star teams and possibly go all the way to the Little League World Series.
From our end of season survey it has been determined that we want to continue to have an indoor hitting facility. Due to the cost to rent and operate such a facility we need increase our registration fees by $40 dollars to fund the facility. We are raising fees by $20 dollars this year and and additional $20 dollars next year in hopes to make the increase as painless as possible. Operating expenses for the league such as equipment, umpires, field rental and insurance are not fully covered by the player fees, so we also rely on sponsorships from community businesses, individual donations and several fundraisers to build and operate a quality baseball program.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the league. Make checks payable to Coal Creek Little League and mail to:

Your canceled check will be your receipt. Thank you for your continued support of CCLL!
We provide a new game shirt and cap for each player, which have the official Major and Minor League Baseball team names, colors, and logos. EACH PLAYER GETS TO KEEP HIS/HER FULL UNIFORM at the conclusion of the season! CCLL does not provide gray uniform pants, which, as with gloves and cleats will be the responsibility of each parent to provide.
Coal Creek Little League strives to give every child in our boundaries a positive baseball experience that enhances skills, self-esteem and sportsmanship in an environment of fun. We will again be offering five divisions of play, Rookies (6-8 years old), Minors (9-10 years old), Majors (11-12 years old), (Intermediate 11-13 year old) and Juniors (13-14 years old). In order to meet each child’s needs, players are evaluated and a draft is held (except for Rookies, who are assigned to teams based on evaluation scores) and chosen according to their demonstrated skill level on Player Evaluation Day. Please help us form good teams and divisions by making sure your ballplayer attends the player evaluations.
Because of limited playing field availability, we will be limited to the number of teams that we can field. To insure that your child has a spot on a team, you must be one of the first (78 kids for Rookies, 104 kids for Minors, 48 kids for Majors, 36 kids for Intermediate or 24 kids for Juniors) that registers online by January 31st, 2015. Registrations will be accepted after this date, but all registrations received starting 2/1/15 or once the divisions are full will be placed on a wait-list, and filled according to remaining availability.
Remember, we are all volunteers! We require good sportsmanship from all involved in practices and games including parents, players, coaches, and officials. Please help us by showing respect to all involved in the game. Your help as a volunteer is always needed and appreciated. Please consider volunteering to be a team manager, coach, team parent, or umpire. We also always need help in field preparation prior to and following games.
